Vexply Geography is a set of quiz games about the world: capitals, countries, flags, continents and a map where you name the marked country. It uses real data for the 193 UN member states, with names in your language, and never repeats a question straight away. Your best scores per mode and difficulty, best streak, history and 9 achievements are saved only in this browser.
Modes and difficulty
Capitals
We name the country; you pick its capital.
Countries
We name the capital; you pick the country.
Flags
Recognize the country by its flag (look-alike flags never appear together).
Continents
Which continent is each country in?
Map
A country is highlighted on the world map: which one is it?
Difficulty
Easy (well-known countries, no timer), Normal (more countries, 20 s) and Hard (all of them, 10 s).
Tips
- Start on Easy in the mode you find hardest: with no timer, you learn without pressure.
- On Hard, rule options out by continent first, then by detail.
- Flags with similar stripes differ in the order of their colors: check it before answering.
- In endless mode, protect your lives: a slow but sure answer beats losing your streak.
Strategy
Scoring rewards streaks more than speed: ten in a row adds up to 100 extra points per question, while instant answers add 50 at most. So in long games it pays to be sure of each answer rather than rush.
FAQ
Which countries are included?
All 193 UN member states. Easy uses the best-known ones and Hard uses all of them.
Are the names in my language?
Yes: country and continent names come from CLDR language data and capitals from Wikidata, in all 30 site languages.
