How to play

• Type a real five-letter word and send it: it has to be in the game’s word list.
• Green: the letter is in that spot. Yellow: it’s in the word, in another spot. Grey: it isn’t in the word.
• If a letter appears twice in your guess but once in the answer, only one of them is marked.
• You have six tries. At the end you see the word, your stats and the countdown to the next one.
• The word changes at midnight your local time. If you reload, your game picks up where it was.

Daily Word is a daily word game: you get six tries to guess a five-letter word and, after each try, colours tell you which letters are in place, which are in the word elsewhere and which aren’t there. There’s one word a day, the same for everyone playing in English.
